Singing old southern gospel music as a soloist since 1992. Born and raised in the Rockfish, NC community. Started singing at the age of 5 years old with his mother and sister in local churches. Has been singing quartet music since the age of 16. Sang with the Lighthouse Boys and Victory Side Quartet for a number of years before the groups disbanded. Has recorded eight projects with Milton Smith and Wesley Pritchard of Millwest Studios in Fayetteville, NC and Lacy Pittman of Creek Stone Music Group in Garner, NC. Has sang and promoted with some of southern gospel music's best: Terry Carter and Port City Quartet, The Anchormen, Dove Brothers, Dixie Melody Boys, Gold City Quartet, Steele Family, Quinton Mills, and other regional groups: the Jay Stone Singers, the Tylers, Pierce Family, Rapture-Road Quartet, and Lucy Hemingway.

 

Larry and his wife, Ginny, attend Massey Hill Baptist Church in Fayetteville, North Carolina when he is not traveling and singing "Southern Gospel" music. He serves as Deacon and Director of the Brotherhood.

 

Larry was recently presented the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, the highest civilian honor in the State of North Carolina. He just celebrated his 31st anniversary of singing southern gospel music as a solo artist.

Larry still travels and sings throughout eastern North Carolina on select dates, regardless of the size of the church or venue; he is always willing to share the Gospel. He also does fundraising for individuals and churches in need.
